EDIBLE SCHOOL GARDENS

School gardens are wonderful outdoor classrooms. They are places where students learn core standards through experiential hands-on learning. Gardens can be all shapes and sizes; even a few pots growing herbs can be a school garden! Lessons in the garden can teach students about science, math, social studies, and language arts.
